I am running out of make up ideas for my course (I do Theatrical & media make up) & I was in need of some inspiration & after looking on Pinterest & we heart it I found some pictures that are keeping me motivated at the moment. I love Marilyn's look so much not because of her fifties icon style but the photo's of her being natural & having fun, to me are more glamourous than her iconic red lips & beauty spots.

I still remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. I was in junior school & I was about 10 or 11 & I remember finishing school & meeting my mum in the car park ready to pick me up. She had the radio on & told me that two of the tallest buildings in the world had just been blown up in New York. We sat in the car park listening to the interviews and updates on what had happened and I remember sitting in shock after hearing that an estimated 3000+ people had been killed. I also remember watching t.v when I came home & seeing the smoke billowing off the towers & the heartbreaking interviews of the people of New York who were on the streets as it happened, footage of people's homes & shops nearby that had been destroyed by the debris & the families of the people inside the building & of course the brave people who jumped. The falling man and the couple who held hands as they jumped out the top floor.
My heart goes out to all the families & friends of the people who didn't survive 9/11, all the people that did & everyone who was effected by it.

I turned 19 on tuesday! I had a lovely day, it was gorgeous & sunny so after opening my lovely cards & presents, my friends took me out for some drinks and then stayed up all night in the mountain near my house complete with barbecue, water fights, good food, laughs, sunbathing, cake & fireworks. I wish I had taken more photos but my father stole my camera for his holiday and my Blackberry isn't the best. Just wanted to say thank you to my wonderful friends for a great day :)

I'm nineteen next week eeh! & I've decided to treat my self to a new tattoo. I have two a lily on my wrist & a hawaiian Hibiscus flower on my foot (which by the way is the most painful thing i have ever experienced in my life). I want something a little more personal or arty on me this time these are some images off We Heart It that are inspiring.
These are some images off We Heart it & Google images that I may have on me:
I love this Lotus flower, I would have this at the bottom of my back.
I would have this Ivy on the side of my left wrist trailing down my arm.
This as a chest piece. I'm not one for big tattoos but I love anything that's eye catching and pretty.
But this is one that I have been planning for too long. It's the story of The Goose Girl By the Brothers Grimm. I founf an old battered copy in an auction a while ago & bought it & whilst flicking through the stories this illustration caught my eye. I would miss out the boy chasing the hat in the back ground and the geese but I love the girl & the bare tree & her hair in the wind. I think it would look nice in brown ink (brown because black goes blue after a while) & have it on my back across my shoulder blades.
